This Academy Class is designed for professional actors at every stage of their career, from those just starting out to seasoned performers looking to refine their craft.

The time for Shakespeare Festival auditions is fast approaching, are you prepared? In this class, we’ll learn what is expected of a Shakespeare audition and how to craft your piece so it best represents you. Each student will be coached on their audition piece, and Antaeus’s Artistic Director Nike Doukas will share her knowledge as an actor and director of Shakespeare to give you a framework for this specialized skill that you can use this season and for seasons to come.

Required: Please bring a memorized, rehearsed monologue from Shakespeare, about 15-20 lines of text.
