Antaeus Theatre Company has named Joe Witt as its new Executive Director following an extensive search. He succeeds long-time Producing Executive Director Ana Rose O’Halloran who moved to the Arizona Theatre Company at the end of 2025. He joins Artistic Director Nike Doukas to form an exciting leadership team as Antaeus heads into its 35th Season of presenting classical plays.

Joe Witt is a producer and arts administrator with over two decades of experience presenting theater, leading nonprofit arts organizations, and managing national touring companies. His career includes leadership roles with The Pasadena Playhouse, The Actors' Gang, Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, The Jim Henson Company, and numerous commercial and nonprofit productions across the United States and internationally. He has overseen large-scale artistic, operational, and fundraising initiatives, while guiding organizations through periods of growth and transition. Joe holds an MFA from Columbia University and a BA from Duke University.
