Masterclass: Acting for the Stage and Screen
A Two-Day Workshop with Tony Amendola

Are you someone who moves between theater and tv/film work? Or would you like to become one? In this weekend intensive, you'll be led through a series of exercises designed to help you develop your ambidextrous expression as an actor. Through discussion, exercises, audition technique and monologue work, you'll explore what binds and separates the two related disciplines.

Please come prepared with an audition piece for Stage and/or Film/TV.

About Tony Amendola
40 year veteran of film and television. Credits include: Blow with Johnny Depp; Mask of Zorro alongside Anthony Hopkins and Antonio Banderas; Lone Star, with Chris Cooper, Annabelle and Rebel Moon.

TV Recurring: Gepetto- Once Upon a Time, Master Bra-tac- Stargate; Series regular: Continuum, 26 Miles. Other appearances: Blackbird, Law & Order, Dexter, West Wing, Will & Grace, 911, Blacklist.

Tony spent the first 12 years of his career in the theatre. Appearing Off-Broadway in an acclaimed production of Filumena and at theatres including Mark Taper, Berkeley Rep, ACT, Williamstown, Utah Shakespeare, La Jolla, Old Globe. Credits include Cyrano, Iago, Vanya, Shylock, Salieri, Lear. He has directed and taught acting throughout the country.

VO/MO-CAP: World of Warcraft, Walden Pond & Star Wars. He is a founding member of ANTAEUS, a well respected LA theatre dedicated to producing the Classics.
