Shakespeare Characterization: An Eclectic Approach with Tony Amendola
Do you sometimes find yourself stuck in rehearsal or in performance, making the same choices you feel safe with, and not knowing where to take the work next? This innovative class will focus on exploring a new monologue or scene, and/or fleshing out something you have been working on for a while. In addition to text work, we will use a series of exercises to heighten your actor’s imagination and strengthen your flexibility and skill in approaching Shakespearean characters, in rehearsal and performance. This course will teach you how to access more from yourself, and challenge you to move forward and beyond what you thought was possible in your work.
