ACADEMY 2025: Scene Study for Teens

Scene Study for Teens
Sharpen your acting skills by working alongside like-minded teens on scene study. Using improv, exercises and memorized scene work, we'll explore the tools every actor needs to create truthful, fully lived performances. Scenes will be chosen by the teacher from modern and contemporary plays, and the final class will conclude with a showcase performance, with friends and family welcome to attend. This class is for high schoolers, ages 13-18.

About Catia Ojeda:
Catia Ojeda (actor/director/teaching artist/coach) has extensive experience working with kids and teens, in both professional and educational settings. She played “the mom” on Just Add Magic (Amazon, Series Regular), Surfside Girls (AppleTV+), Malibu Rescue (Netflix), and others. Guest TV (select): Leanne, Selena: The Series, Grey’s Anatomy, Hawaii Five-O, American Housewife, Criminal Minds, 30 Rock.
