Originally from Los Gatos, CA, Martin joined California Actor’s Theatre in 1975. While there, he performed in numerous productions alongside Sandy McCallum and David Ogden Stiers, as well as future Antaeans Dakin Matthews (founding Artistic Director), and Kurtwood Smith (fellow founding member). Since moving to Los Angeles in 1979, he has had recurring roles on Miami Vice and Hillstreet Blues, as well as guest spots on Cheers, M*A*S*H, Mork and Mindy, Happy Days, L.A. Law, The Practice, and The X-Files. He has also worked in film, most notably as the ill-fated lawyer in Jurassic Park, as well as Heat, Get Shorty, The Tailor of Panama, Gods and Monsters, Oscar, High Spirits, and Planes, Trains & Automobiles. He is a founding member of Antaeus, and a proud member of AEA and SAG/AFTRA.
