Veronica Thompson
Veronica Thompson (Company Manager, Actress, Director, Coach) is a proud 30-year member of Towne Street Theatre, LA’s Premiere African American Theatre Company.  A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., she is also an Acting coach and received a M.F.A. in Acting from New York University Tisch School of the Arts.  She is a 4-time NAACP Theatre Award nominee and was last seen in the Hollywood Fringe Festival ’22 portraying the role of Connie in Dismissed written and directed by Carol Becker. It is an honor to be an active and longtime member of such a prestigious theater under the direction of such distinguished directors like Nancy Davis-Bellamy, Nancy Renee, and Sy Richardson. Summers In Suffolk as Maddie and Mama Cleo, The Phonograph  as Ellie, and Southern Girls as Naomi are among the numerous theatrical roles she has portrayed. Her numerous directing credits include: The Daughters of The KUSH  by George Corbin, War Babies by Madeline Puccioni, 5 Women In The Same Dress by Alan Ball.  Aside from her artistic endeavors, she holds a California State administrative credential and is a retired Stem and Creative Arts Magnet Coordinator for LA Unified School District.
