Solo Performance
A Two-Day Workshop with Ann Noble
Ever wanted to tell your story? Either on the stage or on a digital platform? In this new era of the “content creator”, there has never been a more necessary time to become familiar with the special set of skills that solo performance demands. There are no “rules”, per se, but there are several principles that can shine a light on the method and madness of what can be, truly, one of the most extraordinary and cathartic endeavors. This masterclass will introduce the actor to both disciplines of acting and writing specifically for this medium; the result is a toolbox which will give you the confidence to take your story out into the world, where it belongs. Class time will include lecture and instruction with real-time practice, as well as the sharing and shaping of pre-class assignments, as well as extensive external resources for future education.
*Please note, students under 18 require permission from the moderator to take this academy class. If you’re in this category, please reach out to us at academy@antaeus.org.
