Construction Is Underway

Today is the day!

After years of planning, lots of amazing support from our family and friends, numerous meetings with our architect, and various conversations with our contractor, we started construction at 110 E. Broadway in Glendale today. This morning I stopped by the space and was beyond excited to see our contractor with his team starting to prep for demolition. Just having people in the space, makes it feel more alive, more like home!

It’s a very exciting time at Antaeus that has been long in the making. To be honest, a time that couldn’t come sooner as I listen to both Hedda Gabler rehearsals and an Academy class through the wall of my office in North Hollywood while I write. We need more space so we can continue the amazing things happening at Antaeus. In just a few short months our new home will be ready so we can continue the impactful work we do both on and off our stages – get ready for more productions, readings, Academy classes, and arts education programming.
