Leo Marks appeared at Antaeus most recently in Wedding Band. World premieres include Lily Blau’s The Missing Pages of Lewis Carroll at Boston Court; Smokefall and The Language Archive at South Coast Rep (LA Times Culture Monster Year-End “Top Flight Performances”); How to Write a New Book for the Bible at Berkeley Rep and Seattle Rep (Bay Area Critics Circle Nomination, Best Supporting Actor); Heather Woodbury’s Tale of 2Cities; An American Joyride on Multiple Tracks (Obie Award, Ensemble); Lincolnesque at the Old Globe; A Perfect Wedding at the Kirk Douglas; and Somewhere in the Pacific at Playwrights Horizons. He’s also performed at D.C.’s Shakespeare Theatre, the Geffen, the Pasadena Playhouse, the Intiman, the Ahmanson, La MaMa, Soho Rep, and Actors Theater of Louisville. Other awards include Pittsburgh Post-Gazette “Performer of the Year,” 2012 and “Top Ten Leading Men,” 2010 and 2011; and several LA Weekly nominations/awards. He co-founded New York’s Elevator Repair Service and played Hamlet in Jessica Kubzansky’s production. Many television appearances.
