Erin Barnes grew up in Gates Mills, OH, and has a BA in Theatre from CWRU. At ANTAEUS: Diana of Dobson’s (Kitty) and The Inland Sea (Bliss) in ClassicsFests 2014 & 2015. Ensemble Theatre Company in Santa Barbara: Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley (Jane Bingley). Theatre at Boston Court: The Missing Pages of Lewis Carroll (Lorina). Theatre Banshee: By the Bog of Cats (Caroline) and The Importance of Being Earnest (Cecily). She hasn’t played a role in an American dialect in awhile! Before life in LA, she did a stint in Chicago training at The Second City and playing Sister Terry with the Chicago company of Tony ‘n’ Tina’s Wedding. Other favorite stage credits include Hamlet (Ophelia) and Uncommon Women and Others (Holly). TV & Film: Switched at Birth, Cooper Barrett’s Guide to Surviving Life, Shameless, Scorpion, Transparent, S.W.A.T., as well as commercials for Wendy’s, Merck, etc. Erin is delighted to have found an artistic home at Antaeus. When not on stage or screen, she can most likely be found on the tennis court, baking, swimming, playing her autoharp, or selling houses! (No, really – she’s a Realtor!)
