Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Intimate Apparel, M. Butterfly, Arcadia, The Vibrator Play, Shakespeare In Love… Many of the most exciting contemporary plays require actors to work in a period style. In this class, students will hone their classical chops by working on some of the most fun and challenging modern plays. We will sharpen actors’ facility with heightened language, vocal production, and period movement, while keeping characters rooted in authenticity and desire.

* Please note that there will be no class the week of November 20-24. Also be aware that the final day of class, December 5, will have a regular session during the afternoon, and the final presentation at 7pm.
